I’m Zhou Jiecheng, a filmmaker working across cinematography, post-production, and documentary storytelling.
What draws me to this work is the intersection between technical craft and creative vision. Color grading isn’t just about correcting exposure—it shapes the emotional tone of a scene. Camera placement doesn’t just capture action—it guides where your audience looks and what they feel. These technical decisions are part of the story itself.
Over the past three years, I’ve worked on projects ranging from industrial documentaries to commercial awareness campaigns and web series content. My current focus is on documentary work that explores how people and systems connect—whether that’s tracking the journey of infrastructure construction or documenting community stories.
Based in Singapore, completing my BA (Honours) in Creative Film, Television and Digital Media Production at the University of Northampton.
